I wanted to do a food chain that involved sea creatures.

phytoplankton Phytoplankton are microscopic plants in the ocean. Phytoplankton are at the bottom of the food chain. These are called producers.

Primary consumers Phytoplankton are eaten by krill, shrimp, small fish and squid.

Secondary consumers Krill, shrimp, small fish and squid are eaten by whales, big fish, seals and penguins.

Top predators Whales, seals, big fish and penguins are eaten by Sharks
