STEMNET creates opportunities to inspire young people in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) STEMNET helps young people and their teachers access a range of STEM Enhancement & Enrichment (E&E) opportunities

STEMNET helps more than 3,000 STEM employers to create effective links with education More than 27,000 STEM Ambassadors volunteer as inspiring role models for young people

The STEM Clubs Network allows young people to explore STEM in a stimulating learning environment The STEM Challenges: 10 unique challenges reflecting London 2012

STEM Ambassadors work with teachers in schools and colleges, to help them add context to STEM subjects, alert young people to the career possibilities of STEM and challenge stereotypes.

What can STEM Ambassadors do? Mentor students on specific projects – within the curriculum or beyond STEM Clubs – encourage schools / colleges to consider Clubs or assisting with on-going activity Offer careers advice during a school /college careers event Support National Curriculum in the classroom Support teacher CPD – working with Science Learning Centres, NCETM etc Assist with delivering Enhancement & Enrichment schemes from the STEM Directories Link with schools or colleges to create long-term partnerships You can view the latest requests for STEM Ambassadors on STEMNetworking at:
