INTERNET SAFETY It’s crucial to be safe on the internet because being careless could result in getting your computer stolen or hacked. You need to be cautious when leaving your computer for only a minute because in that minute you leave it could give someone time to steal your computer.. Also, if you just connect to any Wi-Fi, it gives someone a chance to hack your computer through the Wi-Fi source. Being safe not only protects all your information on your computer but also your identity too.

INTERNET SAFETY 1.It’s important to practice safe computing because of the consequences for not being safe. One of the most important things to do on your computer to prevent things from happening is to install protective software. Installing that software will scan your files and check to see if there is anything wrong with your computer. 2.Another great way to protect your information on your computer is to choose strong passwords that consist of not just letters but also numbers. It’s important to change your passwords regularly and choose different passwords for each website.

INTERNET SAFETY 3.Backing up your computer is a fantastic way to make sure all the information on your computer is safe, even if it crashes. 4.Always make sure that if you leave your computer for awhile that it is in a safe place that no one will be able to steal it. 5. You need to make sure your using a secure Wi-Fi connection in order for no one to hack into your computer.

HEALTHY COMPUTING/ERGONOMIC Ergonomics have to do with the person and the item that the person is using and how well it suits the person: an ergonomic mouse more suited for your hand. Ergonomics should be important to everyone; however, employers and employees should be very concerned with ergonomics. It’s important to be concerned with how ergonomic your work place is because it pays off in the long run. Your body will thank you because you made it feel comfortable and relaxed. Your joints and muscles won’t be aching and sore because of the uncomfortable furniture. Employers should definitely be concerned with ergonomics because if the work place for your employees is ergonomic, they will like to work there more because it’s comfortable and human friendly.

HEALTHY COMPUTING/ ERGONOMICS Working in a place that isn’t ergonomic could result in possible long and short term consequences: pain, stiffness, numbness, weakness, burning, etc.

HEALTHY COMPUTING/ ERGONOMICS Non-ergonomic mouse: doesn’t fit the shape of the hand that well, forms the hand into a different shape, could cause soreness or aching of the hand. Overall rating: 2/10 Ergonomic mouse: shaped precisely for the hand’s shape, hand fits to it’s design well, won’t cause any pain to the hand. Overall rating: 9/10

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY / FILE SHARING Intellectual property is abstract property that is the result of creativity, such as patents, copyrights and trademarks. They could be inventions, images, symbols, etc.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY / FILE SHARING Under Canadian Law, file sharing is illegal, despite all the people who partake of it. There have been and still are many disputes over file sharing lawsuits in Canada.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY / FILE SHARING In my opinion, file sharing should be illegal because your not giving credit(money) to the person who created the song or movie. If I made music and people were downloading it without buying it, I’d feel shorted of their money and would try to do something about it.
