Strengthening Risk Prevention and Consultation Mechanisms

1. Attributions National Advisory Commission of Safety and Health at the Workplace  Express opinion regarding draft regulations or standards, as well as in modifying or canceling those in effect;  To practice studies on the matter of labor security, hygiene and environment ;  Propose reforms and regulatory additions on the matter;

1. Attributions National Advisory Commission of Security and Hygiene at the Workplace  Coordinate and evaluate proposals from the State and Federal District Advisory Commissions;  Study and propose preventive measures of risks and contribute to its broadcast;  Elaborate its yearly program of activities, and  Issue its internal regulations.

1. Attributions State and Federal District Advisory Commissions on Safety and Health at the Workplace  To present proposals of drafts for Standards, as well as to modify or cancel the existing ones;  Promote studies in the field of safety, health and work environment;  Propose reforms and regulatory additions on the matter;

1. Attributions State and Federal District Advisory Commissions on Safety and Health at the Workplace  Study and propose preventive measures for risks and contribute to their promotion;  Elaborate its own annual activity program, and  Elaborate its own internal regulations.

1. Attributions Commissions of Safety and Health at the Workplace  To investigate the causes of accidents and sicknesses at the workplace;  To survey compliance of standards in this field and certify in written documents any violation that may exist;  Propose the employer preventive measures on safety and health at the workplace, and  The remainder established by the regulations.

2. Purposes  Elaborate public policies for the prevention of labor risks with the consensus of the national workers’ and employers’ organizations, as well as the other government levels, agencies and public institutions and other stakeholders that deal with safety and health at the workplace.

2. Purposes  Contribute to the effective operation of the commissions of safety and health at the workplaces.  To make transparent operations of consultations and prevention of labor- related risks.

3. Strategic Lines  Impulse the participation of institutions, workers and employers’ organizations in the consultation mechanisms for the prevention of labor-related risks.  To make transparent the operations of National, State and Federal District Advisory Commissions on Safety and Health at the workplace

3. Strategic Lines  Promotion of the effective operation of the commissions of safety and health at the workplace.  Gather the opinion of those directly involved in applying those standards to prevent accidents and illnesses at the workplace and about their effectiveness.

 Impulse the operation of the National, State and Federal District Advisory Commissions on Safety and Health at the workplace.  Develop a website to follow up and promote the works of National, State and Federal District Advisory Commissions on Safety and Health at the Workplace. 4. Program of Activities

 Development of a website to remote monitor operations of the commissions of safety and health.  Elaborate and apply remote user satisfaction surveys to users of commissions of safety and health. 4. Program of Activities
