Chapter 2 – Sending Verbal and Nonverbal Messages

Messages Are (ideas) and (feelings) that people send or receive when they (communicate)

Two Types of Language (Verbal) --A system of (spoken) and written words. (Nonverbal) --Communication without (words). Instead communication is by (body) language, appearance, and the sound of voice.

Understanding Verbal Language Language is… A (System) : A group of elements that work together. A (symbol) : Something that stands for something else. (Conventional) : Accepted by a large number of people. (Learned) : Learned through culture. (Changing) : which is good & not good.
