PFSF Parent Satisfaction Survey Results

21. Please let us know how we can improve: Communication to DCF, Psychologists, etc, a little slow I feel as if anything in the case that is happening needs to be discussed with the parent before anyone else. I also feel as if the parent is putting in a real effort towards the case plan and have completed majority of it, it needs to be talked about instead of just focusing on the negative Stop adding more stuff to my case plan when I am finish doing something. Involved the fathers more with the process after the children have been removed from the home. Hire more diversified staff, too many people just trying to make 8. Improve staff education, allowing staff to attend workshops to learn about their position and how to use these skills in a professional manor. The staff is pleasant but poorly trained. The family care counselor changed too soon.

22. Please let us know of things we are doing well: Family Counselor is great! I understand they are over worked but I appreciate all the help. Thank you! I have very high respect for my case worker and his supervisor and appreciate everything they have done for me, other than a few situations I feel as if they both do their job very well. Case Worker. Rafeal Lola Supervisor. Heather Lagult The only one who treats me with respect is the transporter who brings my kids to my visits. Providing help that is needed for the children that are involved. This has helped my daughter with this transition. Good therapist, quick turnaround time with referrals etc.
