Physical Changes Def: alters the form of the object, but not its identity Ex: tearing paper, crushing a can, folding a piece of paper, mixing salt into water, etc … Can you think of any other examples??
Chemical Changes substances combine or break apart to form new substances Ex: heating table sugar- sugar particles no longer exist burning wood- wood combines with oxygen to produce the glowing gasses (fire) wood changes into ash Any other examples????
