 The temperate forest we studied was the Appalachian Blue Ridge Forest located in the Eastern United States

 Flora: the Appalachian contains 158 different species of tree, the main ones would be oak and spruce-fir  Fauna: endangered species such as snails, 34 different species of salamanders, red- shouldered hawk, Loggerhead shrike, Virginia big-eared bat, the red wolf and the spruce-fir moss spider

 The climate is humid continental in the north to humid subtropical in the south which means it has warm to hot summers and cold winters

 A human impact destroying the forest would be pollution, which acid rain deposition from plants extinguishes forest ecosystems  Building of mountain and forest communities
