Violence or Harassment of one employee to another is strictly prohibited at Stayner Bible Conference Grounds and Camp Mishewah. As followers of Christ, we recognize that Christ came for all, and His love is for every person on this earth. Nothing in Scripture advocates unnecessary violence towards one another. Let us follow Christ and His word as we work, and refrain from the tearing down or physical abuse of our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Let us avoid this…

ECM Policy to be Upheld Evergreen Christian Ministries oversees both Stayner Bible Conference Grounds and Camp Mishewah. The policy on Harassment and Discrimination they have set forth is to be honored and followed.

ECM Policy 1. “Our camp ministry is committed to fostering an environment That is free of discrimination and harassment and one in which all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.” No discrimination will be allowed on any of the following grounds: Race, Ancestry, Place of Origin, Colour, Ethnic Origin, Citizenship, Creed, Sex, Age, Marital Status, Family Status or Disability.

2. “A right to freedom from discrimination and harassment is also applicable where someone is treated unequally because she/he is in a relationship with, association or dealing with a person or persons identified by one of the prohibited grounds of discrimination.” Regardless of your feelings towards others, harassment or physical violence as the expression of is not permissible, whether towards the victim themselves, or those associated with them. This is not seen as a minor offence in comparison to the first policy, but as an equal. Both are highly frowned upon and prohibited.

Last But Not Least 3. “Every member of our camp ministry community, especially screened ministry personnel, is responsible for creating an environment which is free of discrimination and harassment.” This is a group effort. Those who go against this policy and either harass or abuse will be subject to discipline.

Let us meet each other all where we are right now. After all, that’s what God does for us
