Compound Subjects and Predicates

What is a compound subject?

A compound subject is two or more subjects joined by the conjunctions “and” or “or.”

Identify the compound subject: Sarah and Mary are eating ice cream.

Identify the compound subject: Joey and Mike had fun at the movies.

Identify the compound subject: Victoria drew pictures for my grandmother.

A compound predicate is two or more predicates joined by “and” or “or”.
