The Iguazú falls were discovered by Alvar Núnez Cabeza de Vaca, a Spanish Explorer How? The Iguazú National Park is all natural. The only thing that was added was the resort. The Falls and Jungle are natural to the area. Alvar Núnez Cabeza da Vaca

The Iguazú National Park is a national park that consists of 270 different waterfalls. It is also surrounded by subtropical jungle. The jungle is home to over 2000 species of plants, 450 species of birds, 80 mammal species and countless number of insects. All these beautiful plants to the left can be found at the national park.

The Iguazú National Park is a natural beauty that is located is located in the Northeast corner of Argentina. It is located about 30 miles Parana??? downstream at the Triple Frontier, the border of Paraguay, Brazil, and Argentina. This is a picture of the triple frontier on the map.

The land of the park Discovered in The National Park was opened on October 9 th, 1934 with approximately 167,091 acres of land. The National Park officially established by Decree-Law ; Aerial view of the Iguazú National Park.

The Park was established with the purpose of protecting the subtropical jungle that surrounds the famous Iguazú Falls. The jungle has a bunch of unique and endangered species and plants.

The wild and plant life is still thriving today as it was in 1934 along with the waters. The falls are still continuously flowing, and have been ever since the park was established.

The Iguazú National Park is the third largest tourist destination in Brazil and visitation to Iguazú is now over one million a year, therefore, it attracts more people to Argentina. In this picture you can see some tourists that are visiting the park.

Fauna: The Fauna is very abundant “It includes at least 45 mammals, 350 birds, 41 snakes, 8 lizards, 12 amphibian 18 fish and 257 butterfly species.” Flora: The Iguazú National Park forest has more plant species, 40% of which you cannot find anywhere else on Earth.

Past: The park was created in In the park is one of the best natural beauties you will find in Argentina. “Poor Niagara!” is what First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt had to say when she first saw the Iguazú Falls. Present: The falls still have running water, and the jungle is still booming with animals and plants. The Iguazú National Park is still, beautiful as ever.
