Goal Of The Project   To describe the children’s park or a special place for children. Reasons   We’d like to know the common things about children’s parks in different cities and countries.   We’d like to invite as many students as possible to be our partners in this project. Learning Circle. Gymnasia # 6, Gubkin3

Seeing is Believing Seeing is believing. Proverb.  The best way to see a strange city is to buy a map and a guide-book.  Then you should follow the recommended sightseeing routes. Certainly, that is not enough to study the city well.  If someone would like to learn more about the city, it is useful to walk along the streets and look around to see historical places, buildings and monuments.  There is no doubt that you should visit art galleries and museums.  Besides this, you may ask a resident of the city to advise you what places of interest you should see first. One of them is city park. Learning Circle. Gymnasia # 6, Gubkin4

Our Native City  Our small town differs little from tens of other quiet but at the same time Gubkin can boast some unusual sights, which usually draw crowds of tourists.  Cathedral of Transfiguration of the Saviour is the pride of our town. It was designed by art center of Moscow patriarchate. It is situated in the picturesque place. The Cathedral is noted for its remarkable architecture. It is a magnificent building, characterized by a diversity of colours.  The bright cathedral is just like a fairy-tale vision in the south-western part of Gubkin. Our town takes care of this marvellous place of interest, as it is important to preserve buildings of architectural interest. Learning Circle. Gymnasia # 6, Gubkin5

Our Park  Gubkin is remarkable not only for its Cathedral, but also for its beautiful children’s park, which is called “Chudo-Yudo-Grad”. Learning Circle. Gymnasia # 6, Gubkin6

Our Park  And now imagine it is a rainy day and you don’t want to do anything. But you find yourself in a park. It is marvellous in any weather. And you feel the rain whispering to you something wonderful and comforting. And you enjoy every minute of the weather and every minute of your stay in the park. And, of course, you forget about nasty weather. Learning Circle. Gymnasia # 6, Gubkin7

Our Park  There are a lot of interesting and exciting attractions in the park. Most children and adults like “Nessi” and “Pirat”. So we do. Learning Circle. Gymnasia # 6, Gubkin8

Our Park Learning Circle. Gymnasia # 6, Gubkin9

Our Park  When you are in “Chudo-Yudo-Grad”, it’s time for joy and quietness (in any weather). A thing of beauty is a joy forever. Learning Circle. Gymnasia # 6, Gubkin10
