Carnival in Holland

Preparation We decorate our classrooms with masks, balloons and garlands in a lot of different colours.

The day of carnival at our school  All children come to school dressed in something funny.  Each class provides a performance.  Everyone is jumping and dancing on the music.  Prince carnival visits the school.

The day of carnival at our school The party will be followed by a parade through the village Bakel. The children are ridding on go-karts and are dancing on the music while they are walking through our village.

After the parade everyone goes home. We have one week holiday and everyone celebrates carnival with friends and family in his own way.
