HAPPY “TACKY” FRIDAY Bellwork: Write “Egg Lab Day 3 and Notecard Check”, and follow directions below. Day 3 Procedure… 1.Turn in Page 30 (Cell Analogy) 2.Have out your Notecard Sticker Sheet. Lay out your notecards (definition side up) on your desk 5x5 (5 rows, 5 columns) + 1 – “Cell” needs to be top left card. 3.Using your hands, carefully remove your egg from the distilled water and use a paper towel to pat it dry. 4.On your Cornell notes, record your observations of your egg in the water column. Draw a diagram. 5.Mass (weigh) your egg on a scale and record your results on your data table. Enter the weight under the “Final Mass” for WATER. Subtract the “Final Mass” from the “Original Mass” in the WATER row. Place this number in the “Difference in Mass” column in the WATER row. 6.Throw away your egg (pop it over the BIG trashcan) and cup, clean up your work area, and put away any lab equipment you were using. 7.Fill in Cornell Notes “Summary” – must be 36 words and include the following words.
