 There are many types of boundaries one type is convergent. Convergent boundaries make volcanoes. The two plates collide and one slips past, allowing magma to past through to the crust.

 The Eurasian plate moves at about.95 centimeters per year going southeast.  The North American plate moves at about 1.15 centimeters per year going west.  The African plate moves at about 2.15 centimeters per year moving northeast.  The Antarctic plate moves at about 2.05 centimeters per year going northeast.  The Pacific plate moves at about 8.10 centimeters per year going northwest.  The South American plate moves at about 1.45 centimeters per year going west.  The Indo-Australian plate moves at about 7 centimeters per year going northeast.

 Day 1-Travel to San Andreas Fault in California, U.S. It’s a place where there’s a lot of Earthquakes and it’s at a transform boundary.  Day 2 – Travel to Thingvellir National Park in Iceland. It’s a place where the Mid- Atlantic Ridge is above sea- level.  Day 3 – Travel to the Andes Mountains in Chile. It’s a mountain range where the oceanic plate subducts under the continental plate causing the previously mentioned mountain range.

 Day 4 -Travel to Hawaii to see volcanoes. Hawaiian volcanoes were formed because of tectonic plate movement and the hot spot under it.  Day 5 – Travel to Angola Basin and Atlas mountains. Atlas mountains were formed the same way the Andes mountains were formed. The oceanic plate subducts under the continental plate.

 Travel to Kuril islands that are volcanoes and are formed due to seduction.  Travel to Himalayas which are mountains formed due to convergent boundaries. It was Continent vs. continent when India hit China and neither submerged and instead started to fold until the, mountains are what we see today.

 Travel to trans Antarctic mountains which go right through the plate and reaches  Go home and take a nap then a test
