The Balance of Life Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you (Lk. 6:38). Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given” (Mk. 4:24). Give and……it will be given to you.

Study The more study a person is prepared to give to any subject, the more he will get from it. Especially true of Bible study. – Some bored with a study of God’s Word. – REASON: Do so little of it. – Others find it stimulating, interesting. – REASON: Do so much of it. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth (2 Tim. 2:15). For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge (2 Pet. 1:5). But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 3:18).
