John Coughlan Tracker Week Feb FED Production Summary Assembly carried out in batches of ~ 50 boards ~ 300 FEDs have been manufactured. No major problems. 238 FEDs delivered to CERN (> half final tracker readout) Need to recover ORx from prototype FEDv1s for last production batch.

John Coughlan Tracker Week Feb Transition Card 6U Carrier for Slink Transmitter 1 per FED Fast Data path Throttle signals Status 70 at CERN S-links tested with FEDKit at RAL and FRL at CERN. Throttle signals have been tested at RAL, but not yet with FMM (DAQ requested change to shielded RJ45) Order for ~ 400 being placed this month. Allow ~12 weeks for manufacture. DAQ – Slink Transmitter FED Slink data and control signals to FRL Throttle signals to FMM VME Backplane RJ45 6U VME slots at Rear of Rack
