Early childhood educators handle children from preschool to the third grade. So if I didn’t like the day care as much I can also move up into a elementry school. This period is important for children both educationally and socially, with many of the lessons learned extending far beyond these early years. I choose to co-op at a day care to see if I would actually enjoy being around children all day everyday. Being a person that’s with them everyday makes you realize that the development in day care is a huge part of a child’s life and I always wanted to make a difference in their life.

I believe it was well worth the time and experience at the day care, I recommend to take ECE ( Early childhood Educator) for anyone who has patience and loves being around children. I decided not to take ECE in college its not what I want to do, I don’t have as much patience as I thought I did and being around children all day every day gets annoying after awhile.
