4 Option 1: County-hosted software FAQ guide Step-by-step guide for online software Recaps items needed for Desktop software and hardcopy submittals First time users Need access to active address at first log in to validate account May need more than one session Plan does not need to be completed in one session Once a user account is created it can be accessed from any County-hosted site
5 Optional Verification of Submitted Plan If verification that online plan was received is desired: Send an from the address used to submit the plan, along with your user name, to requesting Response via within one (1) business day
6 Option 2: Those with Desktop software For those with Maptitude’s desktop Redistricting software From the Redistricting/Plan Utilities/Export Plan menu- export a binary file (*.bin). Submit CD to CDR with *.bin file Item 9- summary narrative of proposed plan

27 Deadlines for Proposed Redistricting Plans May 4- 5:00PM if you want CDR to review your proposal for requirement compliance. May 18, :00PM is final deadline to submit in hardcopy, online, or CD in order to be considered by the Redistricting Committee. Neither the County nor CDR is responsible for rejection of proposals that are either not received by the deadline or are incomplete or that do not comply with the requirements listed in the public participation plan. Don’t wait until the last minute, give yourself plenty of time and a buffer zone before the deadline.
