Russell Martin hit two homeruns, Francisco Liriano dominated for seven strong innings and the Pirates defeated the Cincinnati Reds for a 6-2 victory in the National League wild-card game Tuesday night. In front of a crowd that was wearing all black and waving black towels, Marlon Byrd also homered and Andrew McCutchen added two hits and reached base a total of four times for the pirates.
