3 TYPES of RIGHTEOUSNESS UNRIGHTEOUS UNRIGHTEOUS SELF-RIGHTEOUS SELF-RIGHTEOUS RIGHTEOUS RIGHTEOUS

Righteousness Denotes someone who is in Covenant

COVENANT A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT; A COMPACT OR AGREEMENT UNDER SEAL, MORE THAN A CONTRACT – IT’S VALIDITY IS AUTOMATIC IN A COURT OF EQUITY. A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT; A COMPACT OR AGREEMENT UNDER SEAL, MORE THAN A CONTRACT – IT’S VALIDITY IS AUTOMATIC IN A COURT OF EQUITY.

Court of Equity Equity is "fairness" or "justness" and, specifically, is the name given to the whole area of the law that deals with disputes between persons when neither of them has done anything against the law, but there is a conflict between their rights or claims. Equity is "fairness" or "justness" and, specifically, is the name given to the whole area of the law that deals with disputes between persons when neither of them has done anything against the law, but there is a conflict between their rights or claims.

Equity equity n. 2) a venerable (holy) group of rights and procedures to provide fairness, unhampered by the narrow strictures of the law or technical requirements of the law. In essence courts do the fair thing by court orders such as correction of property lines, taking possession of assets, imposing a lien, dividing assets, or injunctive relief (ordering a person to do something) to prevent irreparable damage.

Court of Equity It is to be contrasted with "law," which is the legal principles from the common law (derived from the 10 Commandments), the laws enacted by governments (statutes and ordinances), and the "case law" (the principles set forth in courts' opinions deciding cases). It is to be contrasted with "law," which is the legal principles from the common law (derived from the 10 Commandments), the laws enacted by governments (statutes and ordinances), and the "case law" (the principles set forth in courts' opinions deciding cases).

Court of Equity Decisions in Courts of Law which, enforce the government’s laws, are made in light of the written statute and case law. Decisions in Courts of Equity are solely the judge’s discretion based on the specific facts of a single case.

Court of Equity MODERN HISTORY: MODERN HISTORY: The rules of equity arose in England when the strict limitations of common law would not solve all problems, so the King set up courts of equity to provide remedies through the royal power. Most eastern states in the U.S. had courts of equity or chancery separate from courts of law, and others had parallel systems of law and equity with different procedural rules. Now most states combine law and equity and treat both under "one cause of action." God’s Court System IS NOT A COURT OF LAW!! GOD’S COURT IS A COURT OF EQUITY (RIGHTEOUSNESS)!!!!

GOD’S JUDGMENTS (DECISIONS OR SENTENCES) ARE BASED ON THE RULES OF EQUITY …NOT THE RULE OF LAW!!

Equity is Higher than the Law 1) When a Court of Equity has jurisdiction for one purpose, it will take jurisdiction for all purposes. 2) Courts of equity will not tolerate any interference with their officers, process or decrees, by the court of law.

Why is Equity important to us? In order to fully understand how God’s judgments or decisions work, we must understand the MAXIMS of EQUITY or the rules of the Court of Equity (Court of RIGHTEOUSNESS). In order to fully understand how God’s judgments or decisions work, we must understand the MAXIMS of EQUITY or the rules of the Court of Equity (Court of RIGHTEOUSNESS). Judgments are good if you are on the winning side of the judgment.

MAXIMS OF EQUITY 1. RIGHTEOUSNESS acts upon the person, (forcing him to do what conscience requires). 2. RIGHTEOUSNESS will not suffer a wrong without a remedy (healing, restoration, betterment). (RIGHTEOUSNESS abhors a forfeiture of rights.)
