Mr. Jones Mr. Jones is the original owner of the farm. He has lived a life of luxury at the expense of the Animals. For years now he has neglected his farm and the animals grow weary.

How he contributed Mr. Jones contributed to the failure of the the farm by first abusing of the free and tireless labor that the animals provided to him. Mr. Jones also did not do anything to help the animals once he realized that they were unhappy. Jones’ solution was only to silence the rebelling animals with his rifle.
