When & How to Order Supplies
Before ordering supplies, it is important to check supply levels to see what supplies will be needed. Press and hold the copy button on the touch screen. This Button is highlighted in the example above. This machine has plenty of toner so an order does not have to be made at this time. As soon as any color goes below 25%-0 you should place an order so the supply is on hand before it runs out.
A more subtle way to see when toner is getting low. You will see an indicator box appear where it says “ready to scan for copy” The blue arrow is pointing to where this can be seen. In this example, it is highlighted in blue. In this example, the cyan toner is getting low and should be ordered.
If your machine has the “ipad style” touch screen, press the “Total Count” button. This button is highlighted in the example above. You can also double tap the “Home” key to display the “Total count” screen as we will see on the following slide.
A window open up as seen above. In this example, we can see that this machine is getting low on Black and Cyan toner. When it says 25-0% it is time to place an order.
An order can be placed via phone. Our phone number can be found on a sticker. An example of what this sticker looks like is pictured above. This can be found on the front of your machine. Please have the Equipment ID and/or serial number ready when placing your order. You can also place an order online via our website at I will guide you during this on the following slides.
