After the War Problems NOTES Problem #1 –Need some sort of central government One government to tie all the new states together. Problem #2 –What to do with the new land west of the Appalachians? (OH, IN. IL, MN, WI) –George Rogers Clark won it for us –British gave it to us in the Treaty of Paris 1783
