For my poster I chose genres: Psychological Horror Gothic Horror Natural Horror

For my poster I would like to use one of the locations like dark forest, abandoned house, abandoned asylum and hospital; because they fit well with the horror genre and look threatening. The connotations of the abandoned house are unhappiness, problems, lonely and could be haunted. The connotations of the abandoned asylum are insanity, danger, psycho and could be used as a location for a massive murder. The connotations of dark forest are silence, danger, spooky, cold, lonely and nature. The connotations of the hospital are injuries, death, illness.

For makeup I would like to use pale white, grey, red and dark colours like black and dark purple. The connotations of white are light and safety, the connotations of black are death, mystery and evil. The connotations of red are danger, power and blood. I would also use blood and scars as makeup. For costumes I chose dark, gothic and scary costumes. For the antagonist I would choose scary clown outfit and mask, covered in blood; so that the antagonist appears dangerous, creepy and crazy. For the protagonist I would choose dark colour casual clothes like black hoodie, jeans and boots.

For my poster I would like to use props like: Axe Chainsaw Medicine Dagger Guns Surgery equipment Gravestones Pocket watch - The connotations of an axe and chainsaw is danger, injuries and could be used by antagonist or protagonist to defence themselves or to kill. - The connotations of medicine and surgery equipment are health, illness, death, risk and problems. - The connotations of a dagger are sharp, danger, crime, injury, death, blood and threat. - The connotations of guns are threat, action, danger and unwelcome. - The connotations of a pocket watch are time, mortality, death and limited time.
