Acts 2: 23

1 Samuel 2:3, “the LORD is a God of knowledge.” – His knowledge embraces the past. – He is knowledgeable of the present. – His knowledge even reaches into the future.

The Perfect Knowledge of God Job 37:16- “works of Him which is perfect in knowledge.” Job 36:4- “He that is perfect in knowledge is with me.”

Inherent Knowledge – Job 21:22- “Shall any teach God knowledge?” Infinite Knowledge – Psalm 147:5- “ Great is the Lord, and of great power; his understanding is infinite.”

The Personal Knowledge of God Psalm 139: 2-3, “Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.”

God’s Complete Knowledge of Our Ways God’s Constant Knowledge of Our Ways – I John 3:20- “For it our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.”

The Prior Knowledge of God The Future knowledge of God The Future Is Determined by God Lahman Strauss: “Man’s acquisition of knowledge is as one watching a parade. He sees each unit as it passes before his view, and then at best he can take in only part. But God created the marchers, lined up the parade, plans the course of the march, and then directs every moment.”

Isaiah 46:9-10, “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.”

Andrew Murray: “First say, He brought me here; it is by His will I am in this strait place; in that I will rest. Next say, He will keep me here in His love, and give me grace in this trial to behave as His child. Then say, He will make the trial a blessing teaching me the lessons He intends me to learn, and working in me the grace He means to bestow. Last say, I AM HERE – by God’s appointment, in His keeping, under His training, for His time.”
