Is Your God Good? Nahum 1:7 - “The Lord is good…” Psalm 52:1 - “The goodness of God endures continually.”

I.God’s Goodness Is Seen in His PROVISION for Us 1. In Our OWN LIVES Psalm 145:3-9, “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts. I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works. Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness. They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness, and shall sing of Your righteousness. The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The LORD is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. The LORD upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down….The eyes of all look expectantly to You, and You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.”

I.God’s Goodness Is Seen in His PROVISION for Us 1. In Our OWN LIVES Psalm 33:5 - “The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.” Psalm 34:8 - “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.” 2. In The UNIVERSE

II. God’s Goodness Is Seen in His PATIENCE with Us Psalm 107:1 - “Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” III. God’s Goodness Is Seen in His PROTECTION of Us Psalm 27:13 - “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”

IV. God’s Goodness Is Seen in the PATH He Has Chosen for Us Matthew 7: "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

There Are Four Contrasts In These Verses: 1. Two Gates - The Wide Gate And The Narrow Gate 2. Two Ways - The Broad Way And The Difficult Way 3. Two Groups Of People - Many People And Few People 4. Two Destinations - Destruction And Life
