What are blogs?

A blog is a discussion or informational web site consisting of posts typically displayed in reverse chronological order.

History  Jorn Barger an American website editor on 17 December 1997 put together two of the words "Website" and "log" to make weblog.  Its short form, "blog," was coined by Peter Merholz. Evan Williams of Pyra Labs(Acquired by Google) used "blog" as both a noun and a verb and devised the term and product "blogger".
