FHSP – PARTICIPANT CODE The FHSP Type Code for reporting is code 34. The FHSP Graduation Type Code 33 is removed from the code for the school year. Four New Graduation Type Code are added to PEIMS Code Table C162. Code 35, Code 54, Code 55, Code 56, Code 57

FHSP – PARTICIPANT CODE Code 35 – Completion of Minimum Curriculum And Credit Requirements for Graduation Applicable To Students In General Education And Participated In The Exit-Level Assessment Instrument Identified in The IEP-Foundation High School Program (TAC (b)(1)).

FHSP – PARTICIPANT CODE Code 54 - Completion Of IEP And Full-Time Employment With Sufficient Self-Help Skills To Maintain Employment Without Public School Services (TAC § (b)(2)(A)). Code 55 - Completion Of IEP And Demonstrated Mastery Of Specific Employability And Self-Help Skills That Do Not Require Public School Services TAC § (b)(2)(B). T-STEM Indicator  T-STEM Academies are rigorous secondary schools focusing on improving instruction and academic performance in science and mathematics-related subjects and increasing the number of students who study and enter T-STEM careers. Designated campuses serve either grades 6-12 or 9-12.

T-STEM Indicator  The T-STEM Indicator Code uses PEIMS Code Table C088 PARTICIPATION- INDICATOR-CODE  0 = Not receiving services, or condition or situation not applicable to this person or campus  1 = Participant in program or service, or condition or situation applicable to this person or campus.

T-STEM Indicator  Students enrolled in T-STEM on the last Friday in October (Fall Snapshot date are reported in Submission1.  Students enrolled in T-STEM at any point in time during the school year are reported in Submission 3.  Students enrolled in T-STEM over the summer are reported in Submission 4

Individual Graduation Committees  Schools are required to establish an individual graduation committee (IGC) for each 11 th or 12 th grade student who fails to comply with the EOC assessment performance requirements for not more that two courses. A student must have successfully completed at least three of their end-of-course exams to be eligible for an assignment to an Individual Graduation Committee. (SB149)

Individual Graduation Committees  The IGC determines whether a student may qualify to graduate. The IGC must recommend additional requirements for a student including additional remediation and either a project or portfolio. The IGC must also consider 15 criteria in determining whether a student is qualified to graduate.

Individual Graduation Committees  PEIMS Data Element E1561 – NUMBER-OF- STUDENTS-REVIEWED-BY-IGC.  E1561 indicates the number of students that were assigned to an IGC at the end of the school year as result of the requirements of SB 149 becoming effective on May 11, This data elements expires at the end of the school year.  Any campus with students in grades 11 or 12 in the school year must report a value for the number of students reviewed by and individual graduation committee (IGC)

Individual Graduation Committees PEIMS Data Element E1562 – INDIVIDUAL- GRADUATION-COMMITTEE-GRADUATE- CODE. INDIVIDUAL-GRADUATION-COMMITTEE- GRADUATE-CODE indicate whether a student for whom an Individual Graduation Committee (IGC) was established has graduated based on an IGC decision. (Applies to previous year graduates.) Submission 1 only.
