Chapter 8 §8.3 Waterproof Sheet Introduction Polymer Modified Asphalt Sheet Material Polymer Water Proof Sheet

Polymer Waterproof Sheet Polymer waterproof sheet is a kind of flexible sheet waterproof material. Formed by mixing synthetic rubber, synthetic resin or the compounds of them, adding appropriate chemical fillings and so on; distilling, pressing or squeezing them. Fig Polymer Waterproof Sheet

It can be divided into steel reinforced and non- steel reinforced waterproof sheet. As a new waterproof sheet, it has good performance in tensile strength, breaking ability, heat resistance ability, flexibility at low temperature, anticorrosion and antiaging. Usually it has EPDM rubber waterproof sheet, poly waterproof sheet, chlorinated polyethylene waterproof sheet, chlorinated polyethylene rubber waterproof sheet with its thickness of 1.0,1.2,1.5,2.0mm respectively. It can be employed either in single layer or by cold glue or self glue.
