COLLEGIUM POLONICUM in SLUBICE

The Collegium Polonicum is a scientific and didactic area of the two partner universities: Adam Mickiewicz Uiversity in Poznan and Viadrina European University of Frankfurt (Oder). CP is located in Slubice - small Polish city right on the Polish-German border. So we study and live in an academic and cultural meeting place between Poland and Germany. After our classes we like to walking, shopping and patries in Germany, the way to Frankfurt from our cozy dormitory takes just 15 minutes.

My speciality in CP is called Polish Philology for International Students. It is a bachelor programe and more than 200 students already complited or participate in it. Majority of students are from east: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Also we have students from Germany, Portugal and Malaysia.

Many of us didn’t speak Polish before starting study here, but teachers are very friendly and talanted, so it was not a problem.

Price of education in CP and costs of living in Poland are low in compare with our countries and applikants even are not required to speak Polish or other language to sturt study. So for many our students it is an exeptional opportunity to study abroad. We participate in students exchange programs and now my Syberian dream come true - I live on the south sea =)

In CP we have many events connected with Polish culture and I really fell in love with beautiful country and language!
