 The Yangtze River flood is a major flood that lasts from the middle of June until the beginning of September. The Yangtze River climate is mainly influenced by the climate of this area.

 The giant panda diet consists primarily of bamboo, and it eats the bamboo plants that line the Yangtze’s riverbanks

 In its upper reaches the Yangtze River drains across the Plateau of Tibet, which is uplifting as the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates collide. The Yangtze decends abruptly from the Tibetan Plateau to flow across deeply eroded mountian plateaus.
