MENTAL DISORDER  An illness of the mind that can affect the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of a person, preventing him or her from leading a happy, healthful, and productive life.

ANXIETY DISORDER  A condition in which real or imagined fears are difficult to control. -Phobias -Obsessive-compulsive Disorder -Panic Disorder -Post Traumatic Stress disorder -General Anxiety Disorder

IMPULSE CONTROL DISORDERS  Can not resist the urge to hurt themselves or others. - Kleptomania -Cutting -Pyromania -Excessive Gambling -Compulsive Shopping

EATING DISORDERS  Extreme, harmful eating behaviors that can cause serious illness or even death. -Bulimia Nervosa -Anorexia Nervosa -Binge Eating Disorder

MOOD DISORDERS  An illness that involves mood extremes that interfere with everyday living. -Depression -Bipolar

CONDUCT DISORDER  Patterns of behavior in which the rights of others or basic social rules are violated. -Stealing -Cruelty -Lying -Aggression -Violence -Truancy -Arson -Vandalism

SCHIZOPHRENIA  Mental Disorder in which a person loses contact with reality. -Delusions, hallucinations, and thought disorders

PERSONALITY DISORDERS  Unable to regulate their emptions. -Distressed in social situations and may behave in ways that are distressing to others.
