Scaling Integration: A Vision for Collaboration across the SLV BOCES Curtis Garcia

Overview of Centennial as an Integration District  Small, rural school in the SLV  Pk-12 enrollment of 248  90+% Hispanic  80+% Free/Reduced lunch

Year One- Laying the Foundation  Began integration work in Fall  Piloted principal evaluation tool  6 teachers trained in LDC  2 teachers trained in MDC Grant Outcome 1: Educator Effectiveness Grant Outcome 2: Teacher Supports and Formative Assessment Tools Grant Outcome 3: Integration

RTT III  The purpose of the Race to the top of the Valley collaborative is to enhance the quality of education for all children in the San Luis Valley by developing high quality curriculum aligned to Colorado standards and by utilizing professional learning communities to support teachers and administrators to improve overall classroom instruction.
