A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words PECS is a picture communication schedule developed by Lori Frost and Andrew Bondy. Schools often use PECS as a picture schedule so kids can visualize their day. Power Card Strategies Power cards are visual aids that use a special interest to encourage a certain behavior or better social choices. On the back is a one-to-two part script: A brief scenario describing how the hero solves the behavior you are targeting. A recap of how the individual can use the same strategy or a sentence or two showing that the favorite character approves when the individual acts a certain way.
