Line A line is a dot taking a walk A continuous mark with length and direction
Shape An enclosed space defined and determined by other art elements such as line, color, value and texture
Form Form also refers to an element of art that is three-dimensional (height, width, and depth) and encloses volume. A triangle, which is two-dimensional, is a shape, but a pyramid, which is three-dimensional, is a form. More Examples: Cubes, spheres, pyramids, cone, and cylinders
Space Positive Space is the area in which a 3-D object occupies. Negative Space is the area around the 3-D object.

Color Colors originate from the three primary hues and combine to make secondary colors
Value Value is the gradation from light to dark, with or without color
Texture Texture is the surface quality or "feel" of an object, actual or simulated.
