Presentation transcript:

One of the most important things that we did was the Google protest. That is what really got our class started with everything that we are doing now.

When we first got started on reactongrid it was one of the most aggravating things that I have ever done. Sure it was pretty fun but everything you have to build piece by piece and it used to get really annoying. Then we figured out that we could make things look real with it.

I have also helped with project Manhattan (in Reactiongrid). This is a project all about helping people with virtual worlds and how to make it a safe, fun, and interesting place. For both kids and adults. It has been a great experience!!!

Working on Reactiongrid Everything that you see in this picture is so complicated that it is not even funny. It can get really aggravating at times but it is worth it when you get people that appreciate how hard it is and you get to kind of “compete” with others to see who can create the coolest stuff.

Going for a little walk

These are just some of the things that I created. Tman (in the picture below) helped me make some of this stuff. What people usually don’t realize is that something like this takes a REALLY long time. It can be complicated to pull this stuff in. Sometimes it may not rez correctly or I may just look differently on the screen.

The book The book was probably the hardest things that we have done this year. We really wanted to get the word out on what we are doing and exactly what digital citizenship is. My chapter was mainly about virtual worlds. For example, how you work in one and how it can be a good thing for students and adults alike. If we can get the word out about what we have been doing then there is no end to the possibilities. I also wrote about digital citizenship. Digital citizenship is basically how you should act online. The rights and wrongs of the internet. How you should treat people and what you can and can’t tell people on it. Truthfully most people think that when they are on the internet that nobody can tell who they are talking to or what they are talking about, but they are completely wrong.
