2 Telecommunications and Information Technology Services Market Joint Stock companies: «UzbekTelecom», «Uzbekiston Pochtasi», «Matbuot Tarkatuvchi» The followings are represented on ICT market of Uzbekistan: Cellular operators: Uzdunrobita (МТS trade mark) – GSMRubicon Wireless Comm. – CDMA 800 Unitel (Beeline trade mark) – GSMUzbekTelecom-Mobile – CDMA 450 Coscom - GSM More than 650 operators & providers of data transmission and Internet More than 100 companies are engaged in software market There are 18 enterprises and 3 of them are joint stock companies.

3 Share of Investments Attracted to Telecommunications Total volume of attracted credits and investments is more than $966 mln.USD, Under Government guarantee projects – 461 mln.USD, Direct investments – 505 mln.USD

4 Development of Telecommunications Infrastructure As results of realized projects: Digitalization of telecom network in regional centers and towns is 100%, and in rural areas is 52 % Digital long-distance telephone exchanges were installed in all regional centers Telephone exchanges digitalized with total capacity of 1,8 million numbers More than km fiber-optic and microwave lines were constructed National TV-Radio broadcasting coverage of population reached to 100% FM broadcasting network was deployed CDMA-450 standard wireless access system is implemented
