1. Stewardship begins with God.

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Colossians 1:16,17

All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. John 1:3

1. Stewardship begins with God. - He created all things. - He owns all things.

For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills. I know all the birds of the hills, and all that moves in the field is mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and its fullness are mine. Psalm 50:10-12

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein. Psalm 24:1

WARNING! Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 6:19,20
