What should a good friend be like? What qualities should a good friend have?

what should a good friend be like? Meaning: can you describe somebody or can you give us some comments on somebody’s appearance or inner quality. For example, -what is she like? “ 她怎么样？ ” -she is very kind and beautiful. “ 她既善良又美丽.”

What does somebody look like? 某人看上去如何？ （指外表） What does somebody like? 某人喜欢什么？ How does somebody like? 某人认为怎么样？

What qualities should a good friend have? Quality: characteristic 1. 质量 [U] 2. 品质，品性，也可指某一事 物的特性，特点 [C] -Modesty is one of his good qualities. 谦虚是他的美德之一。 -One quality of wood is that it can burn. 木料的一个特点是能燃烧。 -Quality often matters more than quantity. 质量往往比数量更重要。

Funny: causing amusement, laughter. etc (humorous) Smart: clever, new-looking, neat and well- dressed 5-star: this is a compound word. It is used as an adjective to modify a noun.

Loyal: true and faithful; never betray. For example: -He is loyal to his country. - 他忠于国家。 -He is a loyal supporter of the Labor Party. - 他是劳动党的忠实支持者。

Work in pairs. Try to think of some adjective words and then use such sentence pattern “I think he is…………” to tell us your answers. Wise: bright and clever.
