The Statue of Liberty Our landmark is located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor.

The Statue of Liberty People come to see our landmark because it symbolizes freedom to people all over the world.

Some Interesting Facts It was made of pounded copper. The statue is over 151 feet tall. The arm holding the torch was sent to Philadelphia for America’s 100 th birthday celebration in 1876.
