Zahorchak, Secretary of Educationwww.pde.state.pa.us Classroom Diagnostic Tools System Requirements Network Connectivity  All workstations used for student testing should have access to the Internet and should be able to access the servers using HTTP/HTTPS protocols on ports 80 and 443.  Firewalls at the local workstation and the network level should allow Java connectivity on ports 80 and 443.  Proxy Servers: If Internet connectivity is only available through automatic configuration scripts, the same settings need to be applied for Java connectivity using the ‘Network Settings’ configuration from Control Panel -> Java. Bandwidth  A typical shared T1/DSL connection.

Zahorchak, Secretary of Educationwww.pde.state.pa.us Classroom Diagnostic Tools Roles and Responsibilities District Technology Coordinator Attend DRC WebEx training Create communication plan with DTC to support STCs and TAs Ensure all computers used for testing meet minimum requirements and are configured to support online testing Coordinate installation of DRC INSIGHT online testing software District Test Coordinator (DTC) Attend DRC onsite training Create and distribute communication plan to all STCs prior to testing Assist in the coordinator of software installation Setup PA eDirect accounts for all STCs Provide training to STCs Coordinate the management of student, teacher, and class data in the Test Setup system School Test Coordinator (STC) Assist in the coordination of software installation Attend DTC led Test Setup training Provide training to TAs Assist DTC in the management of student, teacher, and class data in the Test Setup system Schedule, manage, and monitor test sessions Print, distribute, and collect test session tickets Indicate testing is complete for the school Test Administrators/Teachers (TA) Become familiar with the TA online testing procedures provided in the TAM Attend STC led training Manage test session tickets when received from the STC Coordinate students taking the Tutorial and Practice Test prior to the test Monitor and manage testing environment Return used test session tickets to the STC
