Chromebook - Textbook Your Google Chromebook is considered a school supply just like your textbook. Be sure to bring it to school daily. Leaving a Chromebook in a classroom, cafeteria, bus, hallway or restroom can result in lunch detention.

Charging Chromebooks should be charged nightly so that they are ready to use at the beginning of the school day.

8 Hours Long A fully charged Chromebook can last up to 8 hours. However it is important to SHUT the device down when you are not using it. Closing the top only uses power.

More on Charging When charging your Chromebooks, be sure to shut the device down completely. If you use it while charging, it will let you work, but will NOT charge the device.

Close Chromebooks When Walking Be sure to keep your Chromebooks closed when walking in the hallways. Leaving it open can increase the chances that your device will be damaged if it should fall.

Password It is also important for you to remember your passwords. Do not share your password information with others. This includes passwords for online resources and textbooks. Think of it like your locker combination.

ASAP If you run into problems with your Chromebook it is important to inform the CCHS Media Specialists IMMEDIATELY!
