How is global warming affecting weather patterns? By: Isabelle Parsons

What is global warming?  Average temperatures  Rising- going up  Scientists-observed  Collecting data  carbon dioxide air pollution Collecting in the atmosphere like a thickening blanket

What are weather patterns? (what kinds?)  More Rain  Ice caps melting  Rising sea levels  Much more severe flooding  Average global temperature has increased past 50 years  Doesn’t create makes hurricanes stronger more dangerous

Cause & Effect  Ice shelves melting polar bears are in danger of becoming extinct  Disappear swim further distances many drowning  Polar bears have been known to swim 100 miles (161 kilometers) at a stretch.

Cause & Effect  Habitat arctic fox is in danger.

Cause & Effect  The seals habitat is shrinking

Thick blanket of co2 traps sun’s heat causing planet earth to warm up

Under water polar volcano’s

Conclusions Ah-hah  Carbon dioxide air pollution collecting in the atmosphere like a thickening sun’s heat causing plant to warm up
