Better to have a plan you don’t need… Than to need a plan you don’t have. Five minutes before the party begins is not the time to learn how to dance.

Why do we Need a Crisis Plan? Stabilizing effect offers coordinated, calm, reasoned response Can be positive ministry response Healthy response to emotional needs Churches are a target Facilitates quicker return to ministry

What is an Effective Response? Members are trained and practiced Roles are clearly communicated Community resources are involved Quick and accurate accountability Emotional needs are supported
