Grambling state was founded in 1896 by the north Louisiana Colored Agriculture Relief Association.

 Our current president Frank G. Pogue, PH.D, a highly respected educator and administrator with a distinguished 47-year career in higher education. Prior to his selection as president of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

 The name of Grambling State’s football team is the Grambling state tigers. The basketball team name is the same as football, even for the ladies team is called the lady tigers. Athletes of the week

 The career I want to pursue in this college is a computer animator. I also want to attend their football and basketball team here.

 Several new academic programs were incorporated and new facilities were added to the 384- acre campus, including a business and computer science building, school of nursing, student services building, stadium, stadium support facility and an intramural sports center.

 A famous graduate of my college is Fakhir Brown. He was born in He was an African American and was a football player. His position was a corner back and started his career in 1999.

Grambling State’s fall enrollment reached 4,994, a small increase above last fall.
