Smart metering simulation test Test was demanded in 2010 Final requirements were designed in 2011 Test was run in 12/2012 – 5/2013 for 100k and 3,5M OM –small AMM data - 4xLP1440 (T1-T4) + 1xLP15(A+) Vendor X –his whole solution was in 2012 replaced by another one for testing purposes –daily data were processed within 10 hrs (after tuning and debugging) HW: DB – 16core/64GB, AS – 16core/32GB, 8xHES – 2core/8GB –basic requirements were fullfiled Vendor Y –his solution was dramatically optimised –daily data were processed within 9 hrs (after tuning and debugging) HW: DB – 16core/64GB, AS – 12core/32GB, WEB - 8core/16GB, 10xCOM – 8core/16GB –basid requirements were fullfiled

How not to be splashed ?  determine customer’s expectations  identify critical scenarios  find effective sollutions to identified critical scenarios (technical, legislative, process)  carefully prove proposed solutiuons  calculate investments, costs and benefits  support implementation
