Reproduction in the Ocean There are many different types of species in the ocean world that they also include many different ways to reproduce each other. Like,for example, sponges reproduce by budding – growing from the organism and then separating in the end of the process – and killer whales reproduce by mating with several different females in any time of the year. Octopus’s die after their eggs hatch because they spend most of their time watching over them since they were layed and squids die right after spawning – laying huge quantities of eggs in one time --.
