PROBLEM WE ARE TRYING TO SOLVE When someone needs to download educational app of his/her choice from Google Play Store he/she gets hundreds of apps in the results and it is very hard to find the specific app which he needs, it is very hard for someone to get exact app which he needs. One has to download and install a number of apps before getting just the right one, and sometimes you just never get to the right app.

OUR SOLUTION We are working on app that provides a directory of educational apps along with editor and user review scores on various categories. Apps will be sorted based on target age group, education level, subject area, fun/engaging/interactive elements etc.

OUR TEAM  Mr. Nagish KhanApps  Nagish is from Karachi and he is a 7th semester student in BSCS at University of Malakand. He is an App and Web Developer and also trainer and given new type of workshop at IBA Karachi, Hamdard University Karachi and UBIT Karachi University. He will be responsible for App development and team leading.  Mr. Naveed KhanBusiness  Naveed is from Swat and He is a final semester BBA Student at University of Malakand. His team scored position nationwide in TiE Business Plan Competition and IBA-INVENT. He will be responsible for the ‘Business’ matters.  Miss. Nusrat GulReview  Nusrat hails from the lawless Bajaur Agency (FATA). She is a student of English Literature at University of Malakand and has interests in technology and entrepreneurship. She will write reviews of different apps for EduGenie.

He is expert in data collection and web research and he will be responsible for Web and Market Research for EduGenie.  Shabir AhamadReview  Shabir is from Dargai (FATA) and He is a student of English Litrature at University of Malakand. He is a motivational speaker and a very good presentor. He will be responsible for writing reviews of different apps for EduGenie.

ADVISOR/MENTOR  Mr. Fazli Subhan(Idea Refining, Marketing, Strategy) Mr. Fazli Subhan is our strategist. He is a very cooperative person and a real motivator. He makes you feel you can do anything you want and achieve anything you can dream of. He does not believe in the impossible, and he delivers even in unimaginable situations. He did his MBA from the University of Liverpool, UK and his MS from University of Paris-Dauphine. He has worked for diverse organizations. He has also provided consultancy to businesses in UK, France, Belgium, UAE and Pakistan, and has been involved in the creation of successful startups. At University of Malakand, he has been instrumental in promoting the culture of entrepreneurship and the success of University of Malakand in different Business Plan Competitions nationwide. He is working here as Manager Research Operations, ORIC. He is also the Founder and Chief Organizer of Malakand Entrepreneurship Club. He has successfully secured funding for establishing a Business Incubation Center at University of Malakand and is acting as Incharge BIC. He also teaches Entrepreneurship at the Department of Management Studies. He like travelling and photography and takes great interest in technology.
