Summer Swimming Incident – Undisputed Facts Shayla Smith is a ten year old juvenile Shayla Smith was the invited guest of the Tuttles on their camping trip to O&D Campgrounds Campground has a clean but murky pool with a sand bottom, no lifeguard, and no diving board No Security on the Campground Premises Pool opens at 10 AM. Shayla yelled “What?” After Tamara’s comments then dove in, hitting the bottom and breaking her arm. Tamara saved her from drowning by helping her to the bank Pool is marked a the shallow end by a sign that is put out at 10 AM when the pool opens.
